Note: please read below information carefully.
Dear participants,
Please find a draft of the program in the attached file. Please
"Search" your name in the program, to see if you are invited
to chair a session, and when and where you will give your presentation.
If you have no time to chair the session, please let us know as
soon as possible, so that we can ask another person to do the job.
If you find the presentation time for you is inconvenient or even
there is a mistake to ask you to give two presentations at the same
time, please also let us know at your earliest convenience, as the
program and the abstract book will be sent to print on October 8th.
However, it should be noted that as now it is very difficult to
change the program, only small adjustments may be possible.
Please also note the time assigned to your presentation. A big
problem in our previous conference is that speakers can not end
her/his presentation on time. So we would like to ask you to note
this problem. A signal will be given 6 mins before the end of your
time slot, i.e., that you can still have 3 mins to talk. Another
signal will be given to inform that you should stop and let the
listeners raise their questions. After that a long buzz will be
given to show that your time is over.
If you are a chairperson of some sessions, please chair your sessions
according to the final program you will receive at the reception
desk rigorously. In case there is some speaker absent, you may ask
the last speaker to give her/his presentation in that slot, or just
leave it blank, so that the participants outside of your room can
catch the presentations after that one according to our program.
Owing to the dilemma that we have too many related sessions and
too limited days, many related sessions are parallel, people may
want to attend different sessions during the same period.
Please also read the message attached to the program carefully,
most of your probable questions may be answered.
In case that you can not attend meeting, please inform us immediately,
so that we can update our program now.
If you have any problem, please don't be hesitated to contact me.
Thank you very much for your cooperation.
Sincerely yours,
Fanji Gu, Prof.
Program Chairperson of SICPB'06
